                                                                                                  2 January 2002
Dear Councillor Mrs Kirkpatrick

HONESTY & JUSTICE

A day onto the New Year and please find attached copy of my letters to:-

1. Ms Douglas dated 8th December;
2. Ms Douglas dated 14th December;
3. the Monitoring Officer, Chief Executive and Executive Panel date 14th December with copy of
4. Mr Scarpa’s letter dated 7th December;
5. Mr Barker dated 17th December:
6. Ms Douglas dated 22nd December;
7. Cllr Thornely-Taylor dated 22nd December;
8. Ms Douglas dated 27th December 2001 concerning Mr Holness with a copy of Ms Douglas’ letter dated 19th December;
9. Mr Scarpa dated 27th December;
10. Ms Douglas dated 27th December concerning independence of the Monitoring Officer.

From the information I have now gathered, it appears that Mr Holness “perverted the course of justice” and in doing so committed the ultimate act of deception before the public and committee. Where Mr Holness addressed the full committee to say an investigation found his officers innocent – it appears there was no investigation. Mr Holness drafted the letter, not the Police. The whole thing was a cover up.

I cannot imagine Mr Holness was in this alone and suppose that a number of high-ranking officers were party to the deception. I am waiting for information from Ms Douglas as to any financial benefit Mr Holness may have received on leaving. This sort of thing simply cannot be swept under the carpet. It’s not just a photo disappearing at an inconvenient moment or a failure to advise, although these matters are serious enough. This is a direct duping of the Full Council and public. In my opinion a full investigation should proceed immediately as a measure of containment.

Yours sincerely

Nelson Kruschandl, victim of discrimination?

Dear Councillor Mrs Kirkpatrick,

This is a reminder that I wrote to you in January of 2002 in respect of the Petition and the subsequent cover up, it appears, involving Sussex Police as part of a conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

As a member of a council responsible for a great many historic towns and villages, and also caretaker of the public purse, could I ask you to be especially vigilant against maladministration within the Wealden District Council.

It is my experience that your council has allowed some departments to run riot with taxpayers money.  Some officers have used council resources for their own goals and as a playground for acts of impropriety, typically to procure consents for friends or family or to procure land for neighbours that your Council favour over someone less well connected.  Sometimes failure to act is to cover up mistakes, and other times to pursue agendas for profit or personal ambitions and desires.

It took me more than 20 years to finally reach an understanding with your council about the Generating Station at Herstmonceux with Daniel Goodwin, Trevor Scott and Andrew Long, but then your Council reneged on the Agreement signed in the County Court following a High Court application for a Judicial Review.  I hope you agree that we cannot afford to let situations like continue indefinitely to drain the council and lead to widespread bad feeling and mistrust by members of the public when they find out what you are spending our rates taxes on.

You were elected to serve the community, not the officers.  You were elected to run the council to the best of your ability, after consideration of the issues that matter.  It is your duty to conserve the historic built and natural environments.  It is also your duty to seek to secure adequate services, education, policing and health care.

These are particularly difficult times, where public funding is under scrutiny against local issues and terrorism and global warming are serious international issues that should be targeted for spending, rather than waste money pursuing lost causes.

Even as I write, identified international dangers are looming and if allowed to escalate unchecked, may put our country and indeed the world as we know it at risk.  We can all play our part by doing what we do to the best of our ability.

If we run a tight ship with a clear desk, when something important finds its way on our laps, we will be better able to deal with it.  We must conserve our energies for fights that matter.

I would be very interested to learn what sustainable policies your council, and your political party are putting in place, and if you agree whatever has been proposed is effective. I should also like to know if you support the current policies or oppose them?

As a resident of Wealden, I am relying on you to do the right thing for your district.  As an inhabitant of planet earth I am relying on you to keep your eye on broader issues and play your part on the international team that is the human race.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future, failing which I know that you will do your best to ensure that the generating buildings are accorded their true status, beginning with the striking of the defective enforcement notice from 1986, as required by the Local Land Charges Regulations. Keeping data accurate is a legal requirement so as not to fall foul of Section 4 of the Fraud Act 2006.

Yours sincerely

Nelson Kruschandl
