ZURICH MUNICIPAL

& LOCAL AUTHORITIES

Zurich Municipal provides insurance to the public sector. Local Authority risk is basically insuring against negligence and incompetence.  It is unclear if payments may be made where malice or misfeasance is involved, or indeed if insurance is available to protect persons operating with such criminal intent.  This is a matter for further investigation.

Registered members may enjoy an electronic library of reference materials that may be of use. In addition it provides the gateway to a new Milestone Management service - a new online facility allowing registered Authorities to manage their claims online.

If you are bringing a Claim against your local authority, it might well be in your interest to get the low down from Zurich municipal.
