CHALLENGE TO 'GREEN' BUS HOMES

It is not surprising that Jack Gore and David Logan should be so out of touch as not to recognise the shift in thinking concerning peoples right to enjoy a lifestyle that suits them.  The kind of thinking that enforces against anything out or the ordinary is outdated and frankly, well past it's sell by date.  Check out Channel 4's 'Grand Designs'.

In granting permission for three years, a Planning Inspector upheld the (human) rights of two couples to live life in two busses at Quicken Wood at Blackboys, Framfield.  Solar panels and wind turbines had been installed to provide electricity and other modern conveniences fitted.  Commendable we say.

What is so predictable, is that once again Wealden (see bushy wood rebuild) having had their noses rubbed in it, have the bare faced audacity to apply spin so as to defend their decision to waste yet more ratepayers money to pay David Phillips and his crew of life wreckers some more overtime.

It is reported in the Sussex Express that: Wealden and Parish councillor Jack Gore said "members of the Wealden Development control committee unanimously considered this a disgraceful verdict".  We say it is disgraceful that the whole bunch of them got it wrong.  It's about time we voted in some young blood capable of seeing the needs of the people, rather than pursue their hidden agenda to conventional staid, and largely unaffordable houses for retired bank managers and stock brokers - their mates!  You guessed it and much more lucrative in the brown envelope department, we'll wager.  You can't get brown envelopes from free thinkers.

For years a Conservative Wealden District Council have pursued policies designed to attract the wealthy few.  In order to do this the council's enforcement department has been allowed to chase off mobile homes and any other person of limited means - as undesirable.  Then came the Human Rights Act.  Now, slowly, in fact very slowly, the tanker is being turned.  Wealden's "land for the rich" policy has caught them short of thousands of homes that should have been built for ordinary folk.

Not only that, but having encouraged their enforcement officers to acquire a taste for blood, they just can't see the wood for the trees any more.  Gas chamber?  I see no gas chamber!  It might be kinder to line up travelers and free thinkers and shoot them.  That's how they minimise the suffering of cattle in slaughter houses!

WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW - Is that decisions that affect your lives are taken in secret - papers never revealed - papers that could show the council acted unlawfully!  SEE BELOW-
