We are pleased to say that in the Wealden District it appears candidates who fail to ensure care is provided for animals and their owners or keepers are less popular with the voters - once the voting public are made aware of the facts.

It may just be coincidence that Eddy Powell was not re-elected following revelation in the Sussex Express he had washed his hands of Brian Bastow's call for help.  We believe the vote speaks for itself, and a big thank you to everyone who cast their vote for persons demonstrating their willingness to put their head above the parapet to try and help Mr Bastow.
